In brief: Happy Frida Kahlo’s birthday! For this week of the year, I’ve come to prefer celebrating a radical, bisexual, labor and worker’s rights activist, chronically ill artist who seemed to know herself so well that her life is an inspiration more than 100 years after her birth. She was only seven years older than I am now when she died and her life was fuller than most of us could begin to dream about.
Today’s episode features a chat with Ally Boguhn, a long-time media watcher and current beltway reporter for Rewire.News. GET THIS: she has good news, hope for 2020, and craftiness in the capitol as left-leaning electeds work to subvert the Tr*mp agenda!
