In brief: Caroline Reilly is “back” to finish our extended chat!
My good friend Caroline Reilly is back on the show to talk about her Washington Post essay on dating with a chronic illness. She’s delightful and we LOLsob our way through wondering how much better this world would be if — to paraphrase her — everyone could just stop pretending that we’re not fucking. It’s an activity in which we engage, and not just to continue the species. Discomfort with sexuality as a topic bleeds into our comfort with bodies overall and stifles communication on so many levels — and leads to dangerous policies and deadly legislation.
