In brief: CN: suicide; self-harm; violence against trans people.
These interviews originally aired on 8/13/2016.
I am so excited about this show! I’ve been meaning to have Chase Strangio AND Aaron Kappel on and when they both crossed my timeline this week, it was perfect timing! Chase brilliantly tackles the lack of logic in whose privacy the law should be protecting (HB2/“bathroom bills”) and the systemic violence perpetrated against trans people by our “justice” system. Then, Aaron and I chat a few of my favorite articles of theirs, on GENDR — the new mobile app/community — and the real trauma of the bathroom bills on trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming folks. We regret that you had to listen to us talk, rather than witnessing an entire conversation of Jack and Karen gifs; they are, however, available in the Twitterverse.
Note: This show is available to stream and download for free so it can be accessible for everyone. If you’re able, consider becoming a supporter for as little as $1/month at PATREON or making a one-time donation through PAYPAL. Thank you!
