“Fighting the March Toward Fascism” w/ @thesteveway & @niais— #KatieSpeakShow Ep74 02/04/2017

In brief: Yes, I used the word “fascism.” My second guest, brilliant academic and intersectional feminist badass Sarah Tuttle will explain why she and her colleagues created Scientists Against the Fascist Establishment. When really smart people break it down the way she does, it is at once validating for those who have existential dread and fear as well as more terrifying. The time to be engaged is NOW.

My first guest is the amazing Steve Way, whose video on how he practically had to beg for the wheelchair he needs to live — under the more friendly Obama administration — has him fearing for his life under Tr*mp. He is real, but optimistic and funny. I was so delighted he was able to make time to be on.
