In brief: This episode is a rare group conversation with two of my favorite writers and friends willing to do the 101 & 201-level labor on racial justice and intersectional feminism. Aja Barber and Maisha Johnson were gracious enough to find time from opposite coasts to sit down with me and a glass of wine to discuss why NOW is the time to accelerate efforts to center those voices and struggles that have been too long ignored. Had we as a culture listened at any point over the last several centuries, we might not find ourselves with a president-elect Trump. We must all of us be better at recognizing our privilege and listening so that we may form a formidable opposition.
