Oh, hi!

Note: This is what I do now, full-time. I’m completely committed to changing the face of clinic access in this country. Oh, hi! I’m not gone, though it has been a ridiculously long time since I put anything new up here for your visual or auditory consumption. This will happen periodically throughout 2014 as I build a platform while simultaneously attending to basic needs. I’ve ignored a lot of health issues for the past decade and — even with help from the Affordable Care Act’s insurance reform — I’m on a merry-go-round of specialists and referrals and new medications and prior insurance authorization (it took nine days to get nasal spray — NO KIDDING) and researching doctors gasp, wheeze, pant and trial-by-error and elimination of old medications….are you tired yet?

So, don’t worry about me. Some of you have written to see if I’m alright and I appreciate that sentiment over the more typical “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN??” response most people’s readers and listeners get. Basically, y’all are above average in awesomeness. So….

I’m also working on some new projects of my own as well as collaborating with others on content that isn’t out yet. I promise it’ll be worth the radio silence. And I’m still writing activism segments for The Best of the Left Podcast on everything from sex worker rights to net neutrality to LGBTQ organizations to solitary confinement. (Check out the side bar for recent 2-3 minute segments with the corresponding links to petitions and websites.)

Also, the SCOTUS Buffer Zone decision is due out shortly and there’s work to be done ahead of time no matter which way it comes down. And, of course, I’m still posting on Facebook and Twitter and doing the live chats at Tawkers. In fact, we’re making the #AnxietyTalk chats a regular thing every 6-8 weeks. If you have other topics you’d like to see me cover, leave them in a comment or shoot me an email.

To those who have generously donated and emailed words of gratitude, I can’t adequately express my appreciation.
